The problem is trying to find a good used one, the 05 with 5000 or so miles they wanted 7500 to 7000, the 04 were in the 6K range with comprable miles. So I found a new 06 for a little over what I could pick up a used on. To me the extra money was worth it to get the brand new R6.

I am sure that I will enjoy it and I will be safe for sure. I am getting all the safety percautions on this bike. I will always be wearing a helmet, gloves, boots, and a good jacket.

Thanks
J

The V Rod is a nice bike, they have no resale value unfortunatly. The R6 come May, I promise you wont find one, and if you do, you will pay 1K over sticker. They are limiting the amount of production, compaired to last year. That is why I jumped on this deal.

Harleys are nice bikes, but I wanted a true sportsbike. This was the only choice to make, it is the best 600cc bike you can buy on the market.

LOL that is what the caddy is for, to beat you from a 50mph roll.

Nope as for the bike, no racing or anything like that. It will be for fun that is it.

LOL ya I might no have beat you but sure was dead even. Now that it is straight I will race you again on the 100shot and beat you no questions asked. If the don't do it I can always upjet to 150.

Don't need a bike to beat you, since you don't have gas on the car, what are you going to do to beat that ?????

LOL

Shoot I know you walked all over my car in the caddy, couldn't believe how fast it was. That thing hauls aZZ and beat my cam and bolt on car.

You don't need the 150 shot to be me, the 50 shot will do the trick. I am sure. You completly raped me last time on the 100shot. I stand no chance against your car.

I know I haev been by the almight JET

Jet,

Beautiful bike. This is exactly what I would like to get. I am torn right now on whether I should get rid of my R1 and get the R6. I have ridden last gen R6, and it's really nice. This one looks sick. My dilema is that I am addicted to the torque of the liter bike, but I really don't like the new gen R1.

Enjoy that bike, and keep it locked up in a garage. Take a refresher MSF, it's definately worth it. If you want to hook up for a ride let me know. I can show you some roads.

Will do for sure. We will be riding a lot when I come home.

Congrats on getting the new R6, it has always be a favorite of mine in the 600 class. I have been thinking pretty hard about getting another sportbike to play on when I'm not on the chopper, but there's several great bikes that make it hard to choose (I'm a big fan of the liter bikes).

Oskar_Z28- Why get rid of the R1 (what yr. model by the way?)? I like the smaller bikes but have found that some of them don't really perform as well as I would like them to. I haven't decided if it's because I'm larger than most guys (6'6" 265lbs.) or what, but of the 600's that I have ridden in the past I never really got comfortable with them. Maybe I'm just a junky for the liter bikes, lol. Is there anything in particular that you don't like about your R1, or are you just wanting something different?

Congrats again Jet.
