That's exactly what I did first with mine, smart choice. I had a LT's, into a Flowmaster Y merge collector, 3" to the Corsa muffler and Corsa tips, looked and sounded sweet. I had the TR 224, it's a good cam for a daily driver without sacrificing alot of gas mileage and without wreaking havoc on the valve train, although you should still change the valve springs. At the same time I had a Vig 3200 stall, it hits pretty good without knocking your teeth out, every bit as good as a Yank and less expensive. Over all it's a pretty good set up for a daily and you might be able to get away without having to have it tuned after the cam install if your lucky. Port your heads and throw alittle N20 at it and it will go.

Ya, I have a 3200 w/ a 230/232 cam on a 111 LSA. Its a pretty good daily driver, would suggest a cam w/ a higher LSA if you want a problem free daily driver though. Lopes hard but dies ever now and then, I think I need to have the idle raised a little.
But if your worried about gas mileage, if you floor it all over the place like i did to test the cam (stall doesn't help either) on my last tank of gas i averaged 8.5-9 MPG.

Oh ya, highly suggest getting a stall.

In your sig it says "tuned before cam", have you had it retuned after the cam install? You should be getting alot better gas mileage than that for those mods. If it were me I'd check the tune, you'd probably pick up some power also.

Ya got it retuned on Monday and I did pick up some power my previous dyno of 335rwhp/340rwtq was before the stall as well. Edited my sig as well but am going to call HPP one more time to have the idle raised.
This is off topic but.. Man I want to take it to the track so bad!! I'm dieing to see my 1/4 mile time!

Yeah that looks better but your MPG would bother me. I had a 232/236 cam and got about 14 MPG thru a built 4L60E(LMFAO) and a 12 bolt with 3:73's. Just out of curiousity who tuned it, Jeremy or James?

I think it was james(It was the one that always has a smoke in his mouth). But ya tht MPG does bother me. might have that checked out as well. I just dont want to spend another $125 for a tune, I'm already about 3k in dept. you'll probly say gas will be more money but... (gotta love parents)

Sounds like James, just call them and tell them what your gas mileage is and ask what them what they think about it. I don't think they would charge you just to check it out and change the tune if needed. It's not really retuning, it's adjusting the tune for driveability.
