It is good that yall have made a turn around... i was there in Reed arena back in spring 04 when yall were last in big XII :o... it is crazy esp when tech has had the infamous bobby knight and still in my eyes play poorly.

any who i would like to add our tennis team, and swimming to line of champs. :o

Nice win for the Ags. Reed has become a tough place to play for the Horns. Good luck in making the big dance this year.

I seriously can't believe aTm fans think they are a lock with a win at Tech. You guys had a pathetic pre-season schedule with some really shitty losses to sub 100 RPI teams. This is where you make your impact on the selection, because good teams lose inside their conference all the time (Duke, Memphis, ect). That's why this loss doesn't hurt Texas one bit for seeding purposes (we are still a 2 seed). Not saying you won't get in because this win was big, but by no means are you a lock.

I think if we beat Tech it is a lock, but a Big 12 tourney win wouldnt hurt either... A&M baseball is 13-1 and just beat #5 Florida 4-0, I think Texas is 9-6...

Yep, the ags are going to come out of the woodwork now talking smack about how their basketball and baseball programs are now better than their daddy's when they haven't won jack. You watch, Billy G is gone to greener pastures either after this year or next.

I think we have more than enough recources to keep Gillespie around. As far as "Powered by Satan", why are you getting so defensive, nobody talked ****, nobody said anything bad about Texas, all I did was state their record. As far as baseball, we have a new coach so I don't know what to expect, but we are 13-1 and just blanked the #5 team in the nation in their house. BTW A&M is up 13 on tech at the half....

Well that was easy, lol. Hopefully we can win some games in the Big 12 Tourney, but as of right now I am 99% sure Texas A&M will play in the NCAA Tourney.

Jon, aTm may have the resources to keep Gillespie, but he may want to bolt for a bigger, better program at a "basketball school" and keep climbing the ladder. There are lots and lots of better schools than the aTm job for him. IMO he's done a good job, but the ags are going to have a hard time keeping him long-term.

With the 13 million we just forked out to update reed, and to make it more of a friendly basketball setting, i hope he sticks around alot longer than a year or 2. We have alot of resources to throw at him. But his main complaint about A&M is the atmosphere that the students bring to the games. I think that will change next year.

Made the dance even before the Tech game.
Beat Tech anyways - at Tech.
