I remember this. Absolutely beautiful . That cam is on a 110 LSA !? that must lope hard as hell. Hows is the drivability with that? now you gotta get some 1/4 track times and dyno numbers.

Well when I went to go look at the car. The cam wasn't even choppy at all. After changing the oil. I found about 20 or so Needle bearings. Looks like I have a busted rocker, All I know it that if I gun it from a stop & then come back to a stop. The car dies.

Need to get the car tuned for here in Texas. The guy I bought it from was from New Mexico & the Elevation is 4200 feet there, Here in Dallas it is 600 feet. So once I get the tune down & get the valvetrain fixed. I will head out to the track.

Thanks guys for all the Compliments. I am very happy.

Car needs some work on the trans. Doesn't feel like the converter is locking up when it should for cruising. When I punch it the car goes. But just cruising it seems like is rpms really high at 3200 rpms at 65mph. The 1-2 shift feels strong. But on a 2-3 shift it feels like it just skips to 4th gear.

Then the car also needs at least one rocker that I know of. Because I changed the oil & found about 20 needle bearings stuck to the drain plug on the oil pan.

But the car still runs like a bat of hell. Even if the car is running on 7 cycl,,, I was told the car has a nice big cam in it. But the car is not choppy at all. It just sounds loud to me & feels pretty fast. Faster then my coupe on motor & it ran 8.0s @86 on motor. So I am just pumped to take the car to Daniel over at SIMPLE QUICK RACING to get it tuned & have them just go over it & check out the things that I have notcied wrong with the car.

So worst case. Mike Katz at Century said he can rebuild the trans for $3650 & that includes a Stage II Rebuild that should hold up to 9 sec power. That price also includes them installing a Trans Cooler & shift Kit & rebuilding my Yank 4200 Converter.

But I want SQR to look the car over first & replace the broken rocker with some bigger Rockers & get the motor tuned & if they say the trans needs a rebuild to get to my goal to run tens. Then I am going to have it rebuilt over at Century Tranmission in Richmond, Texas. Just driving 6 hours one way is going to kill me.

Then go back to SQR & drop about $3000 on the Suspension & put some QA1 Shocks & Struts on it & a Aftermarket Panhard bar & Torqe Arm so I can put all the power to the ground & maybe pick up some Bogarts
