Heading to Witchata Falls... good time?
Heading to Witchata Falls... good time? Well me and a buddy of mine are heading up to Witchata Falls this coming Saturday and we are looking for a good time. Neither one of us have been up in that area in about 5 years or so, so we are sure that alot of stuff has changed. Any of the local guys in that area let us know where the best spots are.
"best spots"!!!! haha theres pretty much only two spots... kemp at autozone/the sonic just down from there OR the track. I dont think the track is open yet tho. Im sure GoldZ will chime in and say whats goin on. Come to think of it I might be headin that way this weekend, might see ya there. BTW the street racin scene there has pretty much died. Might be a few cars that are runnin, hell ya never know.
Like Zack said, not much going on right now. The track is open on Saturday at noon and usually closes around 6 pm. The Sonic on Kemp Blvd is the gathering spot for the faster cars. The ricers and the truckers can usually be found a little farther south along Kemp. People show up at different times from 8 to 10. PM me and I'll give you my phone numbers in case you need any type of help around town or just a place to rest for a bit.

as for the bar sence what is the best last time we were up there Grams was always good ratio wise, but that has been over 5 yrs ago. we'll be there saturady the 18th through the 28 I think. unfortunately we have to go back to abilene the following saturday for my buddies little girl's birthday. but we will be back up there on sunday afternoon for the rest of the time.

Grahams is closed. Alot of people like to hang out at Outskirts or Toby's. I'm not into the bar scene too much any more. As for being worthy to hang out at Sonic with the rest of us... If you drive an american made muscle car you are worthy. Like GoldZ said, we are usually out there every Friday and Saturday night weather permitting. Come on out and introduce yourselves.

Verdad Gallardo okay so the weather has been shitty and it seems like there is NO night life in this town period during the week. We have tried to find anything to do during the week and have pretty much found out that this is a pretty lame town on the week days. Places we did check out Saturday Toby's , yeah I guess if you are a pretty boy college kid it is okay, Outskirts last night DEAD, was really hoping that there would be a few places to atleast get a few drinks and have some nice "views" but I guess that is just to much to ask. Lots of great views on sheppard but not worth losing a stripe over if you get my point. We are planning on going up to the casino tonight to check it out I guess, correct me if I'm wrong, it is suppose to be pretty close. Would love to catch up with some of the car guys in town but unfortunately we have to head back to abilene friday after class for my buddies' daughters B-day. but we will be back on sunday until the following tuesday night.
Another one I forgot about was Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm not sure how it is on the week days though. It's usually pretty full on the weekends. Sorry you didn't enjoy your time here. The weather screwed us last weekend. If it's nice Friday we will be out but I see you will be back to Abilene.
yeah we did the bdubs thing and it was pretty damn good considering the weather, for the most part this isn't a bad town just got screwed by the weather this week

No, doesn't look like it belongs to anyone on these boards. I think the windshield sticker is army so he may just be here for tech school or something. It's a nice car. I'm trying to increase the size of our get togethers.

yeah it is a really nice car sounds good too. I have seen a few nice f-bodies on base, some guy in a black look liked z-28 did a little rev/hello call to me this afternoon over by the tech school area, also seen a nice looking silver/pewter ram air ta parked in one of the dorm parking areas think it was probably MTL or instructor, seemed a little to nice for a newbie
