How good is TCI?

How good is the Saturday Night Special Torque Converter from TCI? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know the truck guys havent had good luck with them and I blew their street fighter 3k converter I will NEVER buy one of their converters after the bad exeprience I had with getting the stall rebuilt.

I had 0 problems w/ my TCI SSF in my car. 1.6x 60's were quite common w/ it too...

I've been running my TCI SFF3500 for almost 3 years now, street & strip, daily driver.

If put any stalled convertor in, its always good idea to put a good trans cooler on to go with it.

4000 stall here. Had some mechanical issues a few months after I installed it. So I call up TCI and get a new replacement. Great customer service and product. They have my vote.

Love my 3800 competition... think Ive put almost 10k on it. 1.6 60s w/ 3.23s, boltons, small cam, full weight. Its not that loose cept around 35-45mph. Shift extensions are around 5600-5700. Got my vote.
