im not, well i was actually thinking of it. but i figure it would be more expensive for a nice clutch package and the trans plus all the conversion stuff. i'll prolly just stick with my 4L60E.

So far ARD is on top, any others? so i can get a few quotes before the end of the week. also has anyone heard of Dean's Automotive in Bryan, TX? I have heard Jason is good there. anyone know?

http://www.centurytransmission.com/

they are located in Richmond, TX

did my rebuild, haven't had any problems but it was rebuilt in January so not much time on it, but they do offer a 1 year or 12,000 mile warranty whichever is first

I bought a Pro-Built Road Racing rebuild kit and had David Myers in Pearland do it in April of 2004 and haven't had a problem since. Well, there was a defective part in the rebuild kit, and he replaced it absolutely free and hooked me up a few other times, too. I definitely recommend him.

Owen built my whole car including the tranny. Ive had his tranny in behind my stuff for over three years without a single problem and I know if there was ever a problem he would be there to fix it and make it right. The man stands behind his work and you dont have to put his kids through college to get his service.
