Default 90mm Fast Intake & T/B

Who is running this Fast 90mm TB & Intake? What kind of power can I expect by adding these bolt ons. I currently have a 600/601 lift cam on a 230/234 on a 112lsa. Will this set up better my current LS6 intake/ported tb?

Post up.....

i heard you may not see much more than maybe 10/15 hp/ tq. i believe they are more beneficial for the larger cube motors. i will be going with the same setup but all i had is a stock intake and ported t.b.

dont quote me on those numbers.

I was thinking about the same thing, but I think for a cammed car a ls6 and ported TB should be fine, maybe youll gain a few HP with the FAST. Our cams are similar in size as well.

Really 5-10 whp/tq depending on cams for stock cubes. Mine netted about 7whp and the best I have had a customer do is about 11whp. Its that last little touch to get them maxed out.

I'm holding out hoping that something even better than FAST will come out in the next 6 months - 1 year. If not, I'll probably go with a FAST.

There already is something. A heavily ported vic. jr. It will flow more, but do you have the engine to pull more. Or if you are a big dog, go grab a harrop.

I have a 408. Will that (Victor Jr) fit under a stock hood?

You would have to use a 90 degree elbow mounted on top of the intake manifold inorder to retain the stock air box, it may not fit under a stock hood.

Yeah, thats what I thought. I was aware of that intake, but that 90 deg elbow looks ugly imo. I'll just stick w/ my LS6 until something else better than a FAST comes along that fits under a stock hood and doesn't look ugly

Jeremy thats an awesome gain, but I bet you were missing something in the tune before hand. What did you end up with at the very end, whp wise?

Yeah guys I am still thinking of getting the FAST 90MM T/B & Intake. But am hoping to get some good gains. $1200 for 7 to 11 rwhp & rwtq might just be okay...I guess.

Well, thats for a stock cubed motor. On something like a 408 its going to be closer to 30 hp. If you plan to keep your 5.7L, I'd just stick to the LS6 unless your after every last drop out of it.

Well actually I was talking about 7-11whp OVER an unported setup. I go in and clean up the TB, and intake. That is what ends up netting between 15-20whp over an LS6 intake.
