whats wrong with my car?
whats wrong with my car? I was coming home from work the car drove perffect until I hit a stop sign by my house the car just turn off so i just turn it back on got home turn it off and then turn it back on the check engine light turn on. When i put it in gear it turns off when its in park it stays on. its a 2000 trans am it has 83000 miles it has a g1 cam,Long tubes, pully, polished throttle body and mass air flow, and a 3600 stall everything was done at MTI.I was thinking maybe it needs to get re tune but i am not sure if that is it

Give MTI a call in the morning and see what they say. Considering that you just came from there, that would be the best course of action to get your issues resolved.
If you felt the need to mention shop names...the least you could have done was to call them first. I realize that you are not blaming them for anythng...but throwing a shop's name around without knowing what the problem is...much less what caused it...is not the best approach. It get's everyone's attention yes...but the problem may not be related to the shop that worked on it.
Go to a local autozone, ask them for the OBDII scanner...usually they will allow you to borrow it if you leave a copy of your DL and Credit Card as a deposit. And like Bizzach said...find out if there are any codes being thrown (some do not throw the SES light) and go from there. Anything that you find will allow the shop to help you fix the problem.

well i brought one of the pgm testers from work and thru the code P0102 i search it here in ls1tech and found some post and it said to check the eng sens to see if it was blown.I checked it and the fuse was blown i replaced it and the car works fine now.
