I'd take it back there and they should take care of you. Right off the top the only thing I can think of is a problem with the tuning or the valve lash may have not been set properly.

Give MTI a call in the morning and see what they say. Considering that you just came from there, that would be the best course of action to get your issues resolved.

If you felt the need to mention shop names...the least you could have done was to call them first. I realize that you are not blaming them for anythng...but throwing a shop's name around without knowing what the problem is...much less what caused it...is not the best approach. It get's everyone's attention yes...but the problem may not be related to the shop that worked on it.
Go to a local autozone, ask them for the OBDII scanner...usually they will allow you to borrow it if you leave a copy of your DL and Credit Card as a deposit. And like Bizzach said...find out if there are any codes being thrown (some do not throw the SES light) and go from there. Anything that you find will allow the shop to help you fix the problem.
Good luck.

looks to me like it could just be a bad tps sensor. when they go bad it can play hell with the driveability of the car.

And if it's not related, then he'll say so. It's part of the diagnosis ("MTI worked on my car") and is actually more helpful than not mentioning it.

The car left MTI 7 months ago, not 7 minutes ago. Plus A_W_O_L is right, take it up with them before you post a thread where you have problems with your car that MTI has worked on. It's sponsor bashing, well in this thread was "semi-sponsor bashing."

Peace,
Craig.
