Never cleaned these off, but weve hit a quail and a turkey vulture (kinda speed up on that one and aimed for it) in our old truck. Truck was already torn up and smelly so we just left it.
And is it true that an armadillo will jump up right before you hit it?

I didn't exactly clean it off... but i caught a hub cap with the top of my scoop one time on I10. Left a really nast mark on there. I was IRRATE.
In my old z I ran over some paint and it was all over the driver side wheel well.

A couple years back in my ZR2, I was driving throught KY in the middle of the night. I was pretty tired, I looked up and saw a dead deer in the road, looked to my left and a car was in the next lane. So I had to split the deer down the middle.
I got home about 7am that morning and went to lay down for a few hours. Woke up and went to look at my truck, pieces of the deer had baked on the bedside and on the frame/fender well . It looked like beef jerky.

Nothing a shop vac and leaf blower didn't take care of.

When my pops had a limited edition, ZR1 Vette back in the day, he was coming home from his office in Angelton, on a back road headed towards sealy. Anyways he was coming down this little 2 lane road, and was pretty curvy when he see's this Cow, in the other lane "mind you he is probably hauling ***" well as he approched it he slowed down to about 70 and tried going around it, right as he did that the cow turned and walked right into the car. This ******* cow totaled the vette. Some how he managed to drive the car home. I remember the next morning going out to the garage to go to school and seeing, the car.."Wanted to cry" but the cool thing was, there was a 50 Ounce Steak chopped out of its hind quarter sitting in the trunck under the hatch lid...
that was a pretty nasty hit..

That reminded me of being back in high school, a buddy of mine had a convertible Cutlass 442 and we took it to school everday. This one day we get in and start it up and you hear the loud *** mmeeooww then the cat shots out from underneath the front end with no tail. His mom took it to the vet and got it all fixed up and I swear not 2 days later same thing happens only that time the fan got it by the neck and cat fur went everywhere, it was really nasty, kinda funny but nasty still.
