anyone in the waco dallas houston san antonio area wana help me put in a cam ???? just thought id ask ... no one i know around here wants to help me... ill buy beer lol

im in central texas bout ....temple to be exact but no one knows where that is ...... its bout 35 mins south of waco and 45 mins north of austin ...... i got the hot cam kit ..... yeah i know its small but its what i want for now ... got the crane spring tool ..... gaskets .... longer balancer bolt .... dowel rods antifreeze oil and filter ..rtv ..locktite .. just lacking a few tools like a torque wrench ... and someone to help me .. never done it before ..... but im not clueless either

If you are not going to change the oil pump or timing chain, it should go quicker. How many miles on your ride?

it'd be wise to change the oil pump tho...he has an older car with the weaker pumps.

Also, you might want to get a double roller timing chain.


Plus you'll need an air compressor so you can keep a valve up to pull it all out.
