You might be able to fab some up. I know a few people that have had the same problem.

i ordered one and it's in the mail... but i have cutout and borla exhaust. borla has it so the right exhaust tip bypasses the muffler so it's still just as loud when the cutout is closed... that's why i need the borla plates so i can block it off and then i can have it anywhere from quite to as loud as i want. i bought it like that... i'm not sure why they put a cutout but whatever.

yeah... if you can find them just pm me and we'll make arrangements. one guy said he was looking but i haven't heard back from him in a while but we'll see. and i'm trying to save money, so calling borla will be my last resort.

Nods that was me Ended up calling Borla and they sent them to me in like 3 days for about $40 shipped.

I put the smallest plate in and it is alot quiter than the 2nd to largest one.

I was wondering did you get the QTP one? Im assuming we need the cheaper one? The one w/o the actual cutout ?

I was thinking about getting one but couldnt decide looking at it which one they were referrring too lol..

yeah i ordered a DMH e-cutout cause for some reason they put a cutout on with the borla. which to me doesn't really make sense cause if you wanted it to go strait through you could just put one of the internal e-cutouts or just put the plate with the biggest hole on your borla. but unfortunately i never knew that borla had adjustable plates for it until after i ordered the e-cutout already so i don't want to have to buy another one to fit inside.

Its the same difference as night and day. If your car is cammed multiply the difference by 2. I have my block off plate on. The straight through exhaust and cam was too much for me.

i know i'm repeating myself but does anyone have borla plates they are willing to give me or at least just the one block off plate. i don't want to order from borla cause all i want is the block off one really. the guy that had my car before me put borla exhaust on it and then put a cutout in too. i already bought an e-cutout for the actually cutout cause i wasn't familiar with the fact that borla was all fantsy and had adjustable plates. and i don't want to spend another 200 dollars on another e-cutout that fits inside my borla. and i dont have the money for an angel grinder or sheet metal right now... so if you could help me out it's much appreciated.

please pm me if you got something.

ok guys, just bought a 98 SS with borla. Owner did not give me any plates, well thats not really the problem, I just want to know where the plates are located in the exhuast to check what is currenltly installed, its not load so I'm assuming its closed. I'd like to check anyways and find out where the plates are located, thanks. Scott
