Question Where to find Bogarts?

Who has a link on where to buy Bogart rims? I had it once, lost it.

Been kicking around the idea of selling my chrome ZR1s (17x11 & 17x9.5) for some Bogarts, I want 15" rims so I can run taller M/T street radials with hellacious hookup, yet have a little more bling than DragLite or ProStars on the street. I have a full set of DragLites w/ET Streets & skinnies for the track already.

Bogart will tell you to absolutely NOT drive their wheels on the street. They're designed for racing only. They're so light they'll bend if you hit even a small pot hole.

I thought the P1's were stronger than Weld wheels? Its the P2's that are SUPER light and will bend easily.

damn...I wasn't too worried about the wieght of the rim for the street application, I'd like to run 10x15's out back & 6x15's up front, something like that (not skinnies but not crazy wide either), mostly I want 15" rims to run meatier tires for the street. BUT after reading your post Mike I'd like to have strong rims and not bend them thank you very much ...ok so which ones do you guys recommend from them?

Daniel I'll keep ya in mind, gotta buddy that wants them too but he's tight on money, just kicking everything around right now. I still need a roll cage, new carpet....damn leather shifter boot is stiff as one of them jerky pig ear snacks for dogs...does the want list ever stop???

You need to call SJM. PLENTY of people have been running Bogarts on the streets...just like Welds. Convo Pro's always look good (and wear well)...but you wont get anything wider than a 15x8 I think with the right back spacing.

I've ran my Bogarts on the streets with no problems. Hell, when my Fikse's were out to get re-anodized for 6 months I rode around on my Bogarts all the time.

Just take it easy on the turns and take it easy on the highway, I would go about 5mph under the speed limit on the highway to be safe. And I've driven on them all over Houston.

Peace,
Craig.

Ok Craig now you lost me ...I understand the hard turns at speed, lateral stress, yada yada yada, even hitting hard bumps going straight and how these would have limits....but "5 mph under the speed limit" ..is that a joke? These rims were designed for drag racing. I'll just assume your saying take it easy on the street due to unknown potholes, etc etc.

tsk tsk tsk . I'm taking note of this in your account j/k. IF you have ANY problems with your wheels (or any of our customers), no matter how you damaged them, call me up and I'll take care of you…I will not tell our customers “you used them on the street, tough luck, we cannot help you”.

IF a wheel is ever damaged, purchased through us our verified vendors, we do repair wheels at minimal costs... This insures you would not have a large expensive paperweight on your desk. If you hit a wall and totally bend the wheel into a pretzel, there is little to do in that case. Of course, this is not a license or authorization to use our Bogart wheels on the street...just as Weld or any other drag wheel manufacture that produces drag wheels state...they are all meant for drag use only.

I personally initiated production of F-body setups moons ago…; I continually work on new designs and prototypes with Rich Bogart. I do want to caution anyone considering our Bogart wheels, we do build them to suit each application, there is no part number to go by. I can build a wheel in a number of ways to reach each customer goals. Different designs are priced accordingly. Rest assured, if you are purchasing them from us or one of our vendors, ALL wheel designs go through me for verification of fitment. If you purchase a wheel from someone that is not our vendor or us directly, then you may not be getting a correctly designed wheel for the application if the vendor does not call in the order correctly.

We have a build sheet that needs to be filled out during e-mails for this purpose…all wheels are custom built.

Please let me know how I can assist any questions or concerns.

Steve

side note, we've got a TON of F-bodies in Texas running our wheels...you guys have alot of competition between each other...per square area....you guys have some very fast cars (and awsome looking with our wheels:-).).

I would always take it slow on the highway because I don't want the wheels to get really really hot, incase I had to brake hard, or swerve (front runners), and I have the VW Bug tires on the fronts that are rated to 80mph for a ~2,000lb car and mine weighs 3,500lbs.
Thats why I take it easy on the highway. Better safe than sorry.

SJM Manufacturing Inc - LMAO!!!
You are the man though!!! I love my Bogarts!!!
I will be calling you up soon to get some different front wheels.

Peace,
Craig.
