Exclamation FS: 1998 TransAm Roller

Car is located in College Station Texas. Car has been garaged majority of its life and is currently garaged along with a car cover. The car has a ten-point cage as you can see in the pics. The car is also rolling on 1998 WS6 wheels with tires that are in good shape and still usable. I have a window net to go along with the cage. The only major blemish on the outside of the car can also be seen in one of the pics. The dashpad is still on the car but it is cracked and should be replaced. Some of the things the car comes with are: ten-point cage, brand new/never run ten-bolt rear end with Richmond 4.10 gears and a Moser T/A girdle, BMR panhardbar, welded BMR boxed subframes (black), tubular LCA's, Optima redtop battery, Whisper lid, Baker hose, and almost all the other misc. stuff needed to get it to run minus engine and tranny. Car was originally a 6-speed car. The A/C, airbags, and rear bumper support have been removed. The t-tops still work and the car's radio/CD player (Monsoon) & power window/Door locks still function. As you can see in the pics the hood needs to be painted white. The major things needed to make the car run are a motor and transmission. This car is in great shape. It would make a great track car or track/street car. I am asking $4,000. I am in no hurry to sell, so please no lowball offers. I am not accepting trades nor am I parting the car out at this time. If you are interested PM me.

thanks!

Car has been sold to "taillights"

Is there still a wiring harness for the engine?

Did the motor blow and send parts through the original hood?

Why is the speedo stuck at around 120mph?

Is there any suspension work done?

Are there subframe connectors installed?

Do you have any 3/4 angle views which show the hatch body line?

Why is the airbag cover a light grey and not black? Was the car involved in an accident? Why were the supports and airbags removed?

Salvaged title?

I am in the process of trying to sell my Z28. Wasn't planning on buying a rolling chassis, but I've always wanted a Trans Am. This would give me the ability to do things slowly over the winter time.

Besides the visual blemish on the front clip, is there any other body damage? I am a pretty picky person.

Also, do you have a shot of the engine bay as well?

other body damage:

not that I recall...there are two minor scratches by the driver side window I can take a pic of and post later on this weekend. The car was wrecked once back in 2000 but it was minor and was repaired by the dealership bodyshop...as you can see from the pics, unless I mention it you never would have known.

I will take a few more pics of the engine bay for you this weekend and post this under this thread.

WOW, a lot of questions...here goes:

no wiring harness for engine and tranny

engine never blew...I sold the engine and the Suncoast RamAir hood. Originally, I took the car apart to install a 496ci BBC...obviously, that never happened.

the suspension work done is listed in the description in the original post

the car is not a salvage title

the driverside air bag is a Billingsley airbag simulator because the airbags were removed thus the slight diff. in color. the airbags were removed to lose weight, not because of a wreck....this car was meant to be a project car for a BBC swap

I had sold the original gauges, then when I decided to sell the car I bought some ls1 gauges online...those gauges were working perfectly before I installed them. The body of the car has roughly 60K miles but because the gauges came from another car they read 100,000+

I will post more pics this weekend
