That black Camaro didnt have a LT1, it had a SB2.2 headed SBC, that motor could have easily been capable of 800HP+ all motor, plus the gas, they said 394CID but it could have been a lot bigger. SB2.2 headed cars are usally big money motors and usally big inch to get the best out of those heads.

The Z28 pulled the front off the ground and the driver totally let off. My guess is that it had an adjustable nitrous kit from 200-300. When the Chevelle guy wanted more cars he just gave it more juice.
I wouldn't bring my car to that show unless it ran low 10's or high 9's with an extra half a second of giggle juice or boost to tap into. No way would I risk losing my car in that fashion!
i know some people that were on the show they had a white camaro (old school) forgot who they raced but they won,and they said that bald guy who host the show told them that he does not know anything about cars that he just gets paid to host it.
he is kinda dumb if you really watch it! i will get more info about the ones i knew but on that show they have guys wearing yellow belly and redline shirts the guy i know is name kelly!
