why does texas not have any cool cop cars?

Rowlett and Farmers Branch (Dallas 'Burbs) each have a C4 corvette, siezed in drug raids I'm told. painted black & white now, light bar and city stickers on the sides.
Rockwall has one or two camaros.
Garland had a badass camaro a few years ago, with a stereo system to die for. souped up for the DARE fad they had going for a while. still have it as far as I know.
it figures Bloomfield Hills would have not one, but two Z06 corvettes.
they are one of 'the richest' cities in America, a suburb of detroit.
