Texas-TA...where's my hood?!?!?!?!
I agreed to buy a hood from this board member on 6.13.06. Everything seem'd to be fine at the time. He is in Amarillo and I am in Austin. We agreed on $500 shipped. I sent the money order on 6.15.06, he claims it showed up on 6.23.06 (seems a little long only going from Austin to Amarillo, but no biggie). I PM him on 6.26.06 and he stated he was looking for a better box to ship it in. Everything to this point seems legit, but a little lengthy. I send him another PM on 7.1.06, which he has yet to read, stating that this is getting a little out of hand. I also posted a thread for him to reply to my PM and he has yet to reply to that.
He has been active on this board up to this point. He was active at about 8:30 this morning and the money order was cashed on 6.23.06.
I have never had any issues buying/selling parts on this board or any other board, reguardless of what it is. I bought my car from a guy in Pennsylvania and had no issues at all.
All I want is for him to let me know WTF is going on. If he has backed out of selling it for what ever reason, give me back my money. If he still has the hood and it is still in perfect shape like he says it is, I'll still take it.
I feel that I have been more than patient with this situation and just want this issue resolved.

If you used a postal money order the postmaster should investigate and prosicute for mail fraud. I had a problem a few years back with a $700 money order. The guy found it and returned my money when I told him an investigator was going to show up at his door.
