You forgot to post pictures of all the trash floating in the water on the cali beaches. As well as syringes, beer bottles, cigarette butts, and other trash in the sand. California beaches = overrated

And yes I lived in California

being from texas means absolutely nothing, and is painfully ridiculous to say so in such a declarative manner
Thats a negative, certain things are a given when you declare where you're from. For instance, when I visited Washington DC I got off the subway and walked up the stairs. The first thing I saw was a protester trying to get signatures to ban handguns in DC (wtf they're already banned). So she says, "Would you like to sign this petition to ban handguns from the capitol?" And all I had to say was, "I'm from Texas." I didn't have to say yes or no, she instantly knew my beliefs and tried to argue.

Saying I'm from Texas means that I'm from Texas, kind of like saying I'm from Ohio means that I'm from Ohio, so it does mean something.

We're in the Texas section, so if we want to take some pride in being from this state, we have every right.

If it bugs you or annoys you that much, just avoid the thread and move on to something you want to read. All you're doing is stirring the pot and trying to get a reaction out of people, if you wanna do that, go to the street racing section and call BS on an obvious kill. You should get the reaction you're looking for then.

Ditto. I was born and raised Californian (26 years there). I'm 38 now. Texan 11.5 years and still loving it. I'll never live in Cali again if I can help it. That state has really gone to ****. Why do you think so many of them are buying property in Austin now?
