With a good lawyer you should get out of the evading charge. Doing 100 mph on a bike you generally want to focus on what is in front of you, not what is behind you. A good lawyer should be able to get that point across.

damn that totally sucks man, I F'in hate HPD seriously every cop Ive ever delt with has always been an *******, they all seem like ****** on powertrips, no offense to any cops on this site maybe I've yet to run into the "sensible" ones, did the guy even hear you out or ask you why you didnt stop?, but def get a lawyer and hopefully you can get out of it

Hmm ya I was there and watched the whole thing, when you go nailed. This happened over off of Brittmore, and you and a supra go caught and you hit a camary at senate road hu.. Dam old times, at least you were lucky back then it was a misdomeanor sp?, and now running is a Felony.

jus curious but y wudnt the cop u saw ahead have his lights on or sumthin, i mean how often do u have a car chase with 1 cop and none of the others bein radio'd in for assistance? That might be a good arguement in court
pay the money should be 10,000-20,000 just happened to one of my friends. he had all charges dropped, but had to do CS, so he paid more money to a certain person then did not have to do anything not even probation.

If you really weren't running and you know that, I would think the video tape would help. Maybe it shows you just driving along oblivious to the police behind you. Then again it could show you speeding and looking as if you are trying to lose him. I don't really know, I can see it going either way. Just hope it works out decently. HPD does suck a lot of the times, at the parking center off of texas street I was thrown in jail for being publicly drunk. I admitted to having like 3 beers before a concert under age and the cop actually wrote on the report I was incoherent and I watched him throw my friend to the ground and kick him in the back for asking to use the phone when he had told us to shut up. Bad cops=Bad times
I did that once here on the tollway in dallas. I passed a tarus on in my truck. I just thought he wanted to race. Speed up and cut in and out of traffic. Then was comming up to my exit and cut over 3 lanes to exit. He did also i just kept on my way looked back as i was paying. I just told him the i didnt see him and that i thought that he wanted to race. He was cool about it and said to just slow it down. I was lucky that day.

I already got a lawyer, see what happens. There going to check what the police has on me along with any video. My next court date is a month from now. Wish it was tomorrow to get it over with. Wish I had some video to see, because like I said I had been going the speed limit after seeing another police car just cruising up in the front with no lights or siren. Then, a few minutes later I got pulled over. I cant imagine ever getting a speeding ticket after this, its a real nightmare and I have never been this stressed out. Really hard to take it day by day. I'm actually more anxious about this than getting my car back with the new motor. I will keep you guys posted on what happens, keep me in your prayers.
