I got a similar problem, however, I think I bring attention to myself. I got a RICEKILLER sticker on my z28 (which I plan to remove very soon), so I always get the stupid kids (I live near 3 high schools 
) bobbing and weaving in and out of traffic trying to get my attention (I dont give in to their child-ish games) and reving their coffee can eshaust at me...Im like..."whateva dude!!" 
but in the 4 monts I've owned my car, Ive only raced 2 honda's (I dont do racing too much...I just like to chill) on the highway...I won ofcourse

I used to try to run down everybody that pissed me off and beat the **** out of them, but now I have too much to lose to do that, and I realized it just got my blood pressure up most of the time and the instigators probably thought that was more funny than anything.
I've only had one pissed off person pull me over in the Vette, which I actually did accidentally cut off. He was very upset until I got out of the car, then went silent. However, I'm man enough to own up to what I do, and apologized for cutting him off, he went into nice mode and we left buddies. Of course, when my giant *** gets out of the Vette, it's usually a surprise and the pissed people turn nice pretty quick.
Glad they didn't do anything to the car...I consider that the most chicken-**** act on the planet to mess with somebody's car (of course, I love cars).

Did you work at the HEB fuel station? I remember a 25th parking there regularily back then and have mutual friends who knew the owner.

Hachie HS kids usually get a bad rap for trying to be badass and only make themselves look like ******** in the end.... I live here and am glad to say that I haven't ran with any of those crowds....I guess causing trouble makes them cool...

My best friend works in Hachie, he has a 35th anni LS1 SS, but I love and hate Wax, b/c the other day I parked at Target and came back out to my truck and there is a D*mn dent in the door from some Idiot that parked to close and then left.

There are actually quite a few nice f-bodies around Waxahachie, mostly SS's, 3 or 4 nicely modded, C6's, a couple modded new Vipers, and ofcourse countless Mustangs of all varieties. Just a few years back in 02, 03, and 04 there was quite alot of night cruising and street racing on the outskirts of town. I had the Z then and was behind alot of the activity of the period. Today there is little activity in comparison and alot of noisy diesel farm trucks speeding through town.
