the brindle and white one is a really good looking dog, are all his "socks" the same size? that dog looks rather proportional. are they AKC registered? if not, they should be! great looking dogs again.

Post-chomping incident, the dogs were given away.
They just seem unstable, like they snap one day and go off on someone.

I know what nine ball is saying and i hear it all the time. ANY dog can turn. NOT just pits. I really don't feel like getting into this argument because it really makes me angry.
I also have a husky...and I've also seen a husky turn. A neighbor of mine's cocker spaniel puppy got ripped apart by a husky. They don't have a history of aggression - but..each and every dog is different. I've also been chased by a lab as well as a german shepard. So please don't give me the speech about how pits are just vicious and will kill people and will turn on their owners - because ANY dog can do that.
It's the same exact thing as saying - "well a black person is more apt to steal something somewhere as opposed to a white person" .... wtf?
It's racist anyway you look at it..
Thanks.

Sure, any dog can turn and go nuts, but you have to at least agree that Pits do it more often. What were they bred for again? Not to be lap-dogs like a poodle.
They are cool dogs, but have definitely earned the reputation.
My bro-in-law had a shar-pei (sp?), also a lovable house dog that never showed any aggression. But, they were bred to be fighter dogs in Asia, and instinct can cause them to snap. They were having a party about a year ago and I saw his 'lovable' dog just walk over and attack a poor kid that was just laying on the floor playing video games. Just walked right up and started chewing on the back of his head. Kid needed 15 stitches. The dog then bit the owner when we tried to pull him off. Had to put that dog down, since my bro-in-law has a young child of his own and couldn't trust the dog anymore.
