Consider renting a house. YOu get a garage to keep your toys in!!!

Any idea what part of NW Houston you want to be in?

Somewhere near the beltway 8 and 290. I'm not "Big" on the idea of renting a house.

There are new apartments on Beltway 8 Between 290 and 249.
I heard there were apartments with garages on 1960 just east of 290.

8 and 290 it would be cheap to rent a house, and between 8 and 6 even cheaper.
I don't know much about apartments out that way, sorry. Care to share the reason you don't want to do a house or towhouse?

No reason in particular. I just don't care to do yard work. Plus, it seems like a big committment.

Those look like really nice APTS. where are they in Houston ? I lived in a couple of different ones with Scooter@MTI and the one he is in now are pretty nice and has alot of hotties trolling thru there. Plus Henry Hudsons Bar is less than 30 sec. drive time, either way you will have a readjustment getting used to Houston. But alot of the people are really good people and there is always something or someone to do in Houston. Good Luck with the move

Wynnewood or some next to there are real good. Plus you can sit on the patio if you face 1960 and watch everybody and there mother race.

Can you drive out there? There are lots of new apartments popping up right off the beltway. Almost all of the newer complexes offer a detached garage, and expect to pay about 100 bucks/month.
