Its a taller hood, i guess im wrong for thinking that they came standard on 2500 and bigger trucks.

All I know for sure, is that the sticker in front of me says
2000 Silverado LS 2500 HD Pickup 4Dr and it's the hood that came on it!

Wouldnt it say "2500HD" on the door if it was a HD? Maybe it didnt apply to the 2000's I dont know. Very nice truck for a good price either way. Why did he mount the tires on backwards That always annoys me seeing the white letters on the inside like that.

I don't think they came with the taller hoods until 01' since 2000 was the first year of the new body style.

i may be wrong on thinking that it should come with the bigger HD hood...

Looks a little like an excursion like that.
I just looked on Edmunds and they don't even list a 2500 without being an HD.

Does anyone read? Plus I doubt they even list the hood on the window sticker as an option.

first year of that model silverado was 1999
