What is there to do in Lubbock? I will be going back to school in Lubbock in August and was wondering what there is to do. I lived up here about a year and a half ago but all my friends are getiing married, having kids, or moved.

You could get involved in the local racing scene as a start! www.racelubbock.com is the address. Then drink, socialize with chicks, go race (sober of coruse), more beer, etc. There is plenty to do in Lubbock, just the same as most every other little big city in Texas!

I just registered at www.racelubbock.com. I'm John 01WS6. Right now I am in Hobbs, NM working. This place is alot worse. I grew up in this area and all there was to do was drink, till the cops start pulling people over for tint, license plate lights, not using your blinker changing lanes, and having loud vehicles. I should be back in Lubbock this weekend though.
