Default how much did you pay?

I was just wondering how much have some of you have paid to get your gear installed and where did you take it to get it installed? I bought my gear and installaion kit three months ago and have not installed it yet.I want to get it done saturday or sometime next week.Any info will be helpful.

If it's your first time messing with gears, DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF. Expecially if it's your only ride or daily driver. Watch someone experienced if you want to learn or pay someone to do install yours and watch them very closely. Ask any question that comes to mind (no matter how obsurd you might come across). After all, you are learning and should ask dumb questions. If you don't ask something dumb now, you will be doing something dumb later.

I agree, do not do it yourself. I pay $135 for labor everytime I need some gears changed.

but what you guys don't understand he wrenches on cars for a living...just that he hasn't come across a task like this. I think that it would be a good learning experience for him.

BTW frank, did you get the number from marias sister (the little sisters number)?

I do alot of my own work on my car myself but I am yet to tackle a rear end gear because if you dont get it right the rear will make noise i just had mine done this week I paid 150 for the gear install and all new bearings installed

That's not what I heard I heard. A little birdy told me you were going thru maria to get to her sister.
