first off.. I think this sucks, .. it is bad for the Big XII.. I don't want to see the Big XII sink to the level of the SEC

that said..

- The university has known about this for almost two weeks .. and was trying to figure out a way to best control the damage..

- there were over 15 players working @ BRSI .. do you actually believe that these two guys were the only ones getting something extra? there are more players involved, Wolfe, Hartley, Lexus .. just to name a few.. there may not be any more kicked off the team, but there are definately more involved.

- Ou's AD is gone .. if they keep him .. the NCAA will fry them. HE stood before them (both the NCAA and the OU Administration) and told them there was nothing going on with the BRSI stuff .. that it was all above board.

-the OKC media is owned by norman friendly people .. the Daily Oklahoman has had this story since 7/24 .. yet never said a word about it .. waitign on the University to make their announcement .. do you think they would have sat on the info for over a week if it was UT or A&M or NU ?

- Contrary to what the University said in their statement yesterday, this investigation was not initiated by them .. they are reacting, and trying to cover their butts.

- finally .. having THREE programs in hot water with the NCAA at the same time is bad .. very bad.

this is very true, as posted above, there's more behind the scene's than what's been shared thus far. This will provoke the NCAA to go back and re-open the peterson case as well. which will not be a shining light.

Lol, its 11:57 PM and OU still sucks!

Where there's smoke there's fire. Watch, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The NCAA will be all over this. My only regret is that I wish Bomar, the other O-lineman and the soon to be other Sooners that will be suspended were still on the team. OU was waaaay overrated by the media for this coming season. Texas was going to and will still pound them regardless of the suspensions or not.

The OU O-line is a joke. Others in the know, myself included, weren't impressed at all with Bomar to begin with. Texas will win the South going away this year. The only games that concern me are the tOSU and Tech games.

Hook'em baby!

I have no idea where people got off with thinking OU being ranked number 1. bomar still was un-proven. The South IMHO is between Texas and Tech. Even though almost everyone in the South will be starting QB's with lil' to no experience. So it should be very interesting. All i can hope for is if the Aggies have a descent season. I'm glad we have a good spread of night games this year.
