Default 511 inch LSx????

I was reading in this months GMHP, and I stumbled across a blurb about a 511 cid LSx thats in the works. The guy interviewed said he usually didnt get stuff that was not going into production, and followed up by sayng that this would easily produce 900hp. Anyone heard anything about this?? If so, I think Ive found something I cant live without.

we made a 500" LS2... it made 705 on pump gas and 922 on spray. That is VERY mild too. 250/250 cam, hardly touched ls7 heads and stock ls7 TB and Intake.

We are about to start looking for more once we get the rest of our Engine Masters motor combo complete.

511 c.i. is dependent upon a 4.3 bore. That big of a bore is impossible with only a 4.4 bore spacing. check out the thread in Ls2/7 on the gmpp block. Robin L. answers the questions.

so what does one of these 500" LSXs cost? i think that may be my next option after this 346 dies a horrific nitrous injected death. ETP/LS7 headed 500" solid roller LSX sounds good to me.

well nothing is official right now... just something Weisco, ERL, and S.A.M. were working on... if anything, talk to Bigbronco, he should be able to speculate for ya

just do a 4.19 bore x 4.125 stroke motor for 455 cubic inches

anything more than that isnt real practical to drive around

thats usually what cars are made for

even for those with race cars, most people arent going to want a motor that has to rebuilt that often

The driveability of the 500" is going to be like a mild cammed LS1. It has a VERY small hydraulic cam and some LS7 heads with mild work in them.

Zac, mind you we only turn this thing 6100 rpms. It will still make over 620 rwhp on PUMP gas. Just wait if we get a chance to put one together with some compression, a solid roller, and a MEAN set of cylinder heads behind it. Game Over.

Trust me, we are about to turn the wick up on this thing though. We just picked up our sheetmetal intake for it I will be taking some pics of it tonight and posting them up.
