your cars an auto right? How'd you break it in the first place with as little power as you are making? Not enough water on the tires for the burnout?

She is scoring on Hutto.....
I dont think she knows that he made a car run 6's with less money then she has in hers. Sorry... it is the truth.
Alot of fellas with V6 looking base firebirds remove the "formula" badges and exhaust and make the car look sleeper like a 6 cylinder..... I like the look myself. Also your rearend is much stronger then the power you are making... no need for a 9 inch...... the vertor is the only reason to bump to a 12 bolt. Spray the darn thing..... then you can start breaking sumptin!!!
400rwhp is not enough to break a stock rear unless you abuse the doo doo out of it. The convertor may help break it a bit though.
Too bad you are trailoring.... I would love to roll you on the street!!! dirty with my baby cam!
most guys are disturbed at the thought of a gal drag racing. Heck I would feel funny gettin drug by my wife in her GTP. almost happened when i was stock (True story).
actually you will pick up a tenth with a new rear... not the spool.... If I had a 9 inch I could launch at 5k rpm vs 3k and go from a 1.9 to a 1.5 60ft... netting me over .5 in the 1/4 mile atleast.

If you wanna make it fair. no break out on the 60ft.... no better than a 1.75 60ft or ya lose...... that is the most equal race we can run. I dont plan to cut lower......... like to hang on to the 10bolt a little longer.
Man... took the car for a drive tonight after picking up from huttos and this biatch scoots.... totally different car with the panhard and relo's... it doesnt hook in 2nd for **** now. also when ya bang gears it doesnt sound like the *** is gonna break on ya. car doesnt move around as much also..... me likey mucho!
mad props to my man V6 Bird for the hookup!

who gives a **** if they have a bigger cam than you or not? btw, best 60' so far with this car the way it will be at the track tomorrow is 2.2 so your 1.75 rule owns us. 10 bolt here too with STOCK tires. got ETs but don't have swaybar mounts for the 9" yet so thats out, otherwise i'd drag that *** HARD.
my car use to have that "swaying" feeling in the *** when i had LCAs with the rubber bushings in it, once i went to a solid rod end setup it was flawless.
