Astros.....
Dont forget to bring that throwback so I can sign it for you, and remember, I was a 3 time all star.
Its the major leagues, not little league. The manager doesnt make all the decisions, no matter how much you want to believe that.
the manager signals to the 3rd base coach when he wants to lay down a bunt
basically 100% of the time
there are fery few exceptions, Garner just does not give the sign.

he is still a double machine...so the odds are an extra base hit if he hits it at all. you don't want to take the bat out of his hands with a runner on. he will be getting a healthy dose of fastballs if berkman is hitting behind him as well.
sorry....i know you guys ended that argument a while ago....just though i would put in my 2 cents
scott's avg is still climbing BTW....
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Theres always going to be a group of top notch players that get to make their own decisions and until either Berkman and Biggio log on, or I see Lance lay one down to move a player over I wont believe otherwise.
And yes, I have played baseball at some level. I was a 9,10 and 12 year old all star. 11 was an off year for me, pulled a hammy and never got back to 100 percent. But, unless you can show me your rookie card, you're info is coming from the same place mine is. A friend of mine actually made is MLB debut with the Astros this year, he pitched 2/3 of an inning, so I have a little insight as to how it works in the pros. Maybe not as much as you, seeing as you've had multiple family members play ball, but a little still.
