biggio won't bunt unless it is a squeeze. even though he is old and slow, he does not get doubled off very often at all............it used to be impossible.
he is still a double machine...so the odds are an extra base hit if he hits it at all. you don't want to take the bat out of his hands with a runner on. he will be getting a healthy dose of fastballs if berkman is hitting behind him as well.

A friend of mine actually made is MLB debut with the Astros this year, he pitched 2/3 of an inning, so I have a little insight as to how it works in the pros. Maybe not as much as you, seeing as you've had multiple family members play ball, but a little still.
