My new home garage! (only look if bored)
Hey there. Just in case you are bored....
I took some pictures of my garage this weekend. I've spent the last 5 weekends updating it. When I bought the house last Month, the garage was not car guy friendly. It was sheet rock and old tape that was mostly falling down. Well I got to work on the dry wall, paint and floor then finished it off with new task lighting (florecent) and a integrated stereo system. The racks are made by Muscle and the PC is hooked up the reciever so I can listen to MP3s and Interenet streams and work from the garage when needed through my VPN (and in the future program my Z here and there?)
This past weekend I was waxing the Z while listening to the VY play on AM/Internet as I couldn't get that game here locally in Austin....
Some people may not like the blue, but it makes me relax and feel happy so I went with it No I'm not a Bruin

So has anyone else gone all crazy on their garage like this? If so I want to see some pictures.

Nice! I can't wait to have a garage of my own Living in downtown Houston is not very garage-friendly. Loe the computer ... definately would come in handy if you had to do some quick research while working on the Z.

Hey thanks guys! Honestly, no idea where those original pics are/were. I'll look around for them on my home PC. The difference is night and day, I'd love the old owner to see it Course....he was not a car dude so he would probably wonder why I wasted my time....well because I spend 40% of my time in the garage!

Yes...this garage was taped and semi-half ***, kinda but not really, floated. However, the tape was falling down from the corners and cellings. SO I had to pull it ALL down and re-tape and re-mud and re-float, then primer, paint, edge.
The epoxy flooring was an eye opener also, took a lot of work.
This was my first time to do any thing at all like this. I learned a lot and I still feel I don't know much. I say that the people that do the work in these new homes and it look perfect are very skilled. However, the people that do half-*** work, say worse then I actually did, they make me sick after knowing what I know.
Just like when I watch idiot tech's at Brake Check working on cars I guess

Ryan,
Yes sir I sold the Supra! I miss it and driving a 350 rwhp car is about 200 shy of what I was used to but it was the right choice. The new owner is an old friend and he is taking great care of it. The Z28 I have now is fully paid for, as is my F250 and a very large portion of my humble home.
What's been up?
