Default looking for a new job

i'm looking for a new job i've been a gm transmission tech for about a yr now at a gm dealership well we are way to slow and it's hard to make a living being that slow, before gm i was a toyota tech for 2yrs, i know how to work on ls1's and build gm transmissions if anybody knows of anyone hiring please let me know i'm wanting to leave the dealership on good terms so i would like to put a 2 week notice in

Good luck on your search. My cousin was a Ford tech for almost 8 years. Finally got tired of the inconsistent pay checks. Show up for 50 hours get paid for 30. Show up for 40 hours get paid for 50. And then there was the slow times when you can't get anything. He found somthing more steady about three years ago. I will tell you he always talks about going back to the shop. He really misses it. Good luck with finding somthing. But like you said dont burn that bridge you never know when you may want to go back.
