If you are looking for 8 spots that hit .300 you are dreaming. The tigers only have one player, Guillen, hitting over .300. And they have 2 position players currently under .250. They seem to be doing allright. Same goes for the Mets, only 2 hitters above .300.

I'm not asking for a .300 hitter in ever spot of the lineup, just a lineup where there aren't three easy outs (Everett, Ausmus, pitcher) every day.
