How do you see your WHORNS doing this year? Think they'll take the Big 12 w/o VY. I'm betting against it. Texass will lose 2-3 games this year.

And who is your allegiance to?

I've been drinking the maroon kool-aid, so i have high hopes for my team. realistic but high hopes.

BTW, tyler has no internet at his house as of yet, so he can't be as involved in this thread as he would want to be.

Texas is still a awesome team, but vince young took over a couple of the games and won it himself,i think without him and the pressure he puts on defenses texas just might lose a couple.

The whorns open with North Texas. So I guess the defense will be ranked in the top 2 after that game. I got more respect for tOSU opening with Northern Ill. At least N. Ill. can compete for a quarter. Sam Houston State? That ought to effin illegal.

I think it is stupid to bet AGAINST Texas at this point, although you can make a case for them losing a few games, lets just see whats happens.

2005 was 2005, this is a new year and a year with out vince young. there were a couple games last year that vince won.

this year is completely different, it will be an adjustment for texas' offense to find a new leader, colt mccoy is the starter, and snead is backing him up, neither of them i like for a QB, but neither of them have started a college game before. This could possibly be another applewhite/simms ordeal.

texas's strongest threat is their defense, the offense needs to gel and become a unit, especially when the leadership left last year and has to be rebuilt.

as for them playing UNT, no biggy, we have a soft opener as well. the citadel isn't a team to sweat over. atleast you guys play OSU pretty soon

Texas would have lost to OSU and USC last year without VY. That is about what I expect to happen this year, they will lose to OSU in Texas and they will lose to whoever they play in their bowl game.

They might as well be Div IAA.

It doesn't matter what the Longhorns do this year. Notre Dame will win the National Championship and Brady Quinn will be picking up the Heisman.
