My car drives everyday to work and back and gets 16mpg in the City. If you are in the Houston or Cypress area we can hook up and run and see how a cam car runs against a cam and heads. Car looks great and sounds great!

So I guess that there is no advantage to haveing LS6 heads.

that cam is bigger than mine too, you should definately be making more power

I was going to setup an appointment with HPE to get my car tuned, but this makes me wonder if thats a good idea... There is obviously something wrong and I would expect them to be able to figure it out.
And the valve train noise is normal when the wrong length pushrods are used. Smaller base circle cams have to have a longer pushrod to compensate. My car has a trex in it and the valve train sounds damn near stock.

He needs me to leave my car with him for an extended amount of time and since this is my daily driver that is not an option right now. Now granted he should have realized this problem while my car was getting finished, but I had to have my car back before my wife started teaching again (I was using her car) and I was pressureing him to get it done. I will always send my car to HPE, they will always get my business.
