RIP!
We were pitted right next to these guys....I am still in shock that they are no longer with us....
Beautiful car! But they were having problems the minute they rolled it off the trailer...
Really makes you appreciate life just that much more! Give your loved one a hug!

I new Chris pretty well he was a good guy, he loved building these cars. His main thing was restoration but he was getting into the 05/06 mustangs pretty big. Some of you may have heard about an 05 mustang with a procharged 427 ls1, well he built it. He was good friends with Nick and Rick the owners of FASTLANE INC. Nick did all of the tuning on Chris' projects. Wormboy and I just saw Chris last monday at the Tool concert. We played poker with Chris on tuesdays. We will miss Chris very much.

At least they they died what they like doing the most. I want to think that they did not suffer, and it was pretty quick. A lost to the local racing community.
Did you notice at the bottom of the article that it was first suspected that nitrous oxide might have played a role in it. F@ckin cops just itching to get more B.S. laws passed, and automatically red flag cars

Thats really, really sad. You hate to hear about things like that, and you know there are tons of friends and family who are totally devasated by a random accident like this.
I would hope that folks out there would use this as a lesson about the fuel systems on our cars. I'm not saying these guys had anything wrong with their car, I know nothing about the car, or the accident.
But, for the rest of us out here, think about it. High volume high pressure pumps can move a bunch of fuel into the engine compartment in a matter of seconds. I've seen folks use cheap vaccum line, regular hose clamps, etc... None of which is suited for fuel, or for the pressure it is being transfered at. I would hope that these horrible examples of what can happen when something fails catastrophically would not be lost on all of us out there, and no one else's family would have to deal witha tragedy like this.
