th400 and 4l60-e ftra hpp3

have a th-400 for sale, went with a 350 instead 350 obo
4l60e that needs to be gone through 350 obo

i also have a ftra with lower part for sale and a hpp3 for a 98 also pm me with any questions thanks, dwayne

hey whats the diff between the 2? i need a new tranny, tired of this 2-3 clutch going out. I also need it with a OD and a 3200 stall. please explain.

TH350 is an older 3 speed auto tranny while the 4l60e is a electronic version of the 700r4 which is a 4 speed auto... 4l60e was standard in 94 and up f body..i think 93 had a 700r4..but i could be wrong about that

just wanting something that can hold 500+ rwhp and not burn up stupid clutches and also have a OD

That is gonna be a problem. All my buddies run TH-350 and 400 they ride on the highway almost 3k rpms so no OD but they sure haul ***. I heard a 700r is expensive to build to hold that kind of power. Maybe wrong though.

if you want a tranny to hold 500 hp and keep OD its goona cost a lot more than just going with a 3 sped(th-400), and its a lot stronger also than the 4l60(stock one)

cause i have nitrous and i put down 330 to the ground and 500+ on nitrous (200)
