Well I have to say I am no fair weather Cowboy fan, I have been one since birth. Thanks to my parents and family, I remember as a kid in the 80's Gary Hoogerbaum and the end of Danny White's career along with the other greats. I also remember when Houston had a football team the Oilers and how they would beat up on the Cowboys. Something is missing in Houston, the offense should be able to do more than what they are doing. The defense is what is crippling them and why they did not trade that #1 pick and build a stout *** defense is mind boggling. But the real answer is that the owner has no control over his GM and Casserly making that pick then moving to the NFL office should be a slap in the face to all the people of Houston. I really wish the TExans where better because them vs the Cowboys would make the rest of the NFL hate Texas that much more. But remember this because it will always stand true no matter how much you hate it and no matter how good or bad they are:

Houston should do something on the 22nd of December in recognition of the 10 year anniversary of the Oilers last game in Houston.

First Game Played September 11, 1960
Last Game Played December 22, 1996
Moved to Tennessee in 1997

Same here man, I still dont know what they were thinking with Dave Campo. At least he was consistant though.

And as far as being consistant...I didnt like the Oilers either before I didnt like the Texans.

Honestly, I'd be happy if the Texans lost every single game this season, but beat Dallas.

It is okay to be a Cowboys fan if you live up there, that is expected. I'm mostly talking about the Cowboys fans in other parts of the country, that only cheer them on when they are winning. Kind of like the Bulls fans

Why would we celebrate a team that jumps ship and leaves us with nothing? F them and Bud Adams.

Oh, I'm in the Houston area, but I've been a Cowboys fan since I started watching football.

And there will be a post on October the 15th talking **** about how many times the Cowboys sacked David Carr and how ugly that game was.

The Texans suck from A to Z....Passing on Vince Young or Reggie Bush for "Mario" might have been the dumbest move in professional sports since Jordan was passed to the Bulls....

I was and continue to be very disappointed with Texans management.

Texans fan here...

Having grown up in San Jose, Ca - near San Fransisco - I was a HUGE 49ers fan during the Montana/Young years. I moved to San Antonio in '89 and remained a 49ers fan (and K.C. for a bit) for a LONG time. Once Montana retired I was lost....

Once Houston got the Texans, and I was sure there wasnt going to be any baby blue in their uniforms - I signed on. Win or Lose, I'll support them as they are geographically the closest NFL team.

I think that David Carr would be an adequate quarterback if he wasn't looking at the sky after every play. Its hard to throw touchdown passes while laying on your back. Everyone always wants to point at the QB for losing games - but he is the least of the Texans worries.

The team had no choice just the owner, wherer is the "Luv Ya Blue" spirit at ? I only wish that he would have sold the team and new owners could have kept the Oilers around. I really liked the Oilers and all just ashame that's the way it goes, maybe if San Antonio gets a team sometime they can be the Oilers like the Texans name is throwback to the old Dallas Texans days before they jumped up to KC.

Mario is proving to be a HUGE waste of a draft pick. I watched him most of the game yesterday, and he was rarely around any of the action. He only has 8 tackles for the last three game, zero sacks. Hell, even Carr has one tackle this season.

http://www.nfl.com/teams/stats/HOU

pathetic for a 1st round pick.

The whole entire team is absolutely horrendous. I don't and won't give anyone any credit. The brightest position so far has been the recieving corps, and thats not saying much because, there's no one to get them the ball. David Carr has good #'s, I know. But its all garbage time stats, and anyone in the game will tell you stats mean **** unless your winning too. I'll give Carr an ounce of credit when he can make it through the game without bumbling a snap from center, fumbling the ball, or turning the ball over. And I'm already getting tired of hearing Kubes say that he's getting better every game and showing improvements. We must not be watching the same games guys. I just see it as Uncle Bob still trying to save face and not admit that he made a huge mistake with David Carr. Any other team would have sat Carr on the bench with the little league mistakes he makes.

The entire offense looks no better than last years, which isn't saying much and the defense is about 10 steps back from last years which was terrible to begin with. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Fans, we are in for a long coupla months here. If the Texans can't manage a way to scrounge up a win against the Titans at home, we may be looking at a winless season.
