Default Need Help Asap

I ran out of gas so i called my friend to bring me some gas and some we put about 3 gallons and the car still won't start and info would help.

i would try unplugging the battery and let it sit for a few minutes and then hook the battery back up. Let the car reset itself and see what happens. it's worth a shot.

There might be air in the line.....Hopefully you didnt burn the fuel pump up.

turn the key on for a minute before you try to fire
let the pump push some fuel

or check the fuel pump fuse, it might have blwon

if not get under the car where the gas tank is hit it with a hammer or some kind of metal about 3 times then start it.if it starts is the fuel pump

Ya bang it while you are trying to crank it. If it starts up then you shorted the pump.

I banged on it and still nothing so i guess its time for a new fuel pump

most likely you burned it up... they are gas cooled (which is kinda ghey) so no gas means too much heat and bam

Go with a walbroro, its cheaper anyhow

If you did burn up the pump and your car is a 98 get a cheap walbro. If it is a 99+ get a Racetronix Walbro. The install is MUCH easier than trying to cut up everything. It is the same pump but racetronix puts a different shell on it to make it fit like factory. You get something better than that cheap *** rubber hose to connect it to the fuel line.

That sucks man those are a pain in the *** to work on the ground. Postive side is that with an upgraded pump, Nitrous might be around the corner. lol

turn the key on and check the schrader (sp) valve on the fuel rail. that way you know if you are getting fuel pressure or not for sure.
