Question Help a girl out,please

I just bought a 02 NBM Z28 this past wednesday and I need help figuring something out. Everytime I turn left into my driveway it feels like there is alot of impact to the left front wheel when it hits that little concrete lip at the end of the driveway. I never feel it when I turn in from the right. When I went on the test drive there was no way for me to feel this because I drove only on the highway. I was told maybe there is to much air in the tire. I checked that and it was fine. Do ya'll have an ideas as to what this might be?

PS Do any of ya'll know a guy that works in the parts dept. at Champion Chevy off 45 South? He owned the car before me.

Sounds like a bad/blown left front strut. Hard to diagnose on the 'net though.

I just realised you said "Champion Chevrolet". I used to work there as a saleman back in '93 when it was Charlie Thomas Chevrolet.

You'll get a better response if you post pics. Of yourself.

It's really hard to say based on what you have said so far, does is feel like something is loose ? Or does it feel more like something is binding ? Also, does it have stock rims/tires or is it an aftermarket setup ? How does it do over speed bumps ? Does the suspension give like it should or does it feel too stiff ? All of these may help you narrow down the source of your problem. Hope this helps.

It could be one of the overhead cams stuck in the power stroke.

ya better change your answer to "worn front shocks" so that mitchntx does not come in here and **** up your thread....he has a habit of doing that. https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-members/580205-fs-koni-yellow-double-adjustables-fronts-rears.html

My car has stock snowflakes, although I am not sure how to tell if it has been lowered some. I know the guy who owned it before had aftermarket wheels on it. It doesnt feel like anything is loose. How can I tell if it has aftermarket struts, springs, etc.?
