Like everyone else said here. First time on the track is a learning experience. My very first time was in my 04 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab--bolt on 5.3. First 2 passes were 15.1 and 15.2. By the end of the night I was hitting 14.82's consistantly.

It just takes practice.
