What info do you have that is contradictory to hundreds of studies that say that GC is the best?

Gives the extra COAT when you need it.
But we have tested EVERY major oil you can possibly find, and when it comes to one last bit of performance, no one on this board, minus a few people will get a hold of the "good" stuff. For the majority of the cars on here though any oil will work, just get the proper weight. I love all the little scientists in this thread arguing over who they "HEARD" is the best.

Gray is basically right. NASCAR teams did EXTENSIVE testing with oils and found that no one was any better than the other by any measurable amount. They did, however, find that Kendall might've been better by the thickness of the needle.
The best thing to do is to buy whatever is on sale at Autozone or O'Reilly's. It really makes no difference IMHO.

what is the proper weight for oil? i use 10W30, is that ok?
also, sorry to jack the thread, but my car wont turn on the first time i turn the key, its not all the time, it just does it once in a while. i hate it though, what if im gettting chased by a serial killer and i get in my car and it does turn on, then he breaks the window and kills me! all because my engine wouldnt ignite!
ne ways, does ne one have any idea what it could be? maybe wires, plugs, fuel line? the car has 70K miles, to my knowledge they are riginal wires, i changed the fuel filter last year and the pluggs. THANKS!

Because its formulated for Deisels. It missed the clatter.
I used to run this in other cars. It has a lot of detergents in it. Probably cleaned your valve train up for ya.

Is your voltage on the red when you put your key on engine start. Check your alternator if it does. My 01 Z28 did the same thing and I replaced my alternator with a duralast gold I got from Autozone. Now it starts on every turn.
