Default Got a Ticket Grr

So im driving my 04 elantra which needs to go in for warrenty work because the cig lighter and power outlet dont work not letting me hook my escort 8500 up.. and my birds opti is out

Got a ticket for coasting down a hill near our police station here in woodway (did 42 in a 30 supposedly). I was really doing around 38-39 which is only 9 over --- compared to a 12 over, anyways the cop passed me halfway on the hill. Then I passed another one pulling out of the police station.
Then I went to make the turn at the end of the road and the 1st cop comes up behind me and flicks the lights.. tells me he saw me doing 42 and the other cop saw me going faster (I had already braked at the end of the hill)
To top it off he brings my insurance papers back to his car and loses them and tells me he gave them back. So I got out of my car and told him I didnt have them he did the whole get back in ur car ****? my girlfriend and her friend where in the car witness to all this stupid ****

What should I do? Im 17 no previous moving violations at all - mind you I'v been pulled over around 6-7 times and got verbal warnings or just warnings for lights out, looking suspicious, to check insurance and 1 speed warning 1st month i got my lisence.

hmmmm...im not sure if theres anything you CAN do...it sucks and most of the time is DEFFINATELY not fair...but they dont care! most of them become cops because they couldnt cut it in school (im bitter because of a ticket too...can you tell lol)...you have no previous citations...so thats good! you have 2 witnesses...so thats good too. I THINK that if the cop has no proof (radar) then you might have a good chance...but you may shout out the same amount of cash tryin to fight it...as you would to just to pay the danm thing...if you win, then its not on you record...if you lose you pay for the fight and the ticket AND its on your record. Personal experiance says pay the ticket and move on...but its your call...i know its not fair, but like i said they dont care...it doesnt effect therre pocket book. chances are the judge might just dismiss you...cuz nine over is RETARDED! that cop was just bored and saw a kid in a nice car that he wish he could afford! good luck

Take the defensive driving course and have it dismissed.

Take it like a man. Tickets happen. I took all of mine to a local lawyer. 40$ = not on my driving record.

I got caught racing doing ,according to him, like 37 over well I was really doin like 85 but im not going to confess to ONLY doing 85 so I went to a lawyer and me and my buddy, (racing opponent) together had 6 witnesses and we both got off with probabtion mine is 60 days and his is 180 and some Community Service since he was already on probation.
