This car will vaguely see the track.
But since you did bring it up
- I do plan on making some good runs in street form to see how she does.
It could very well run a 11 sec pass @ a high mph.
But on the way home I will enjoy pulling from modified bikes that are running 9's in the 1/4...
(Again I will have an LX car for drags and the vette to do any highway bombs).
Trying to cover both playing fields "so to say".
10.40's @ 142 with a car that was "street" legal and I say that lightly.

J. Salvaggio's car is a daily driven cam/nitrous car that still gets 25 miles to the gallon has A/C which will freeze an Eskimo's nuts off and has a radio that would make Jimmy Hendrix proud.
Did I fail to mention his car is very capable of running your times "or better" with more seat time....

As for the supra's you were talking **** on..
Duy - 9sec car driven on HPD cruises for 100's of miles.
Ross - 8sec car street driven
Kareem - 9sec car with 160,000 miles on it. Still has the stock tranny and rear-end.
Tommy Banh - Broke the Texas mile record in his supra. 200+mph

My car makes good power but I cant drive the damn thing on the track worth a ****.
I have tried quite a few times and cant get traction and cant launch it without spinning.
There is a solution
- Tires
- Susp.
- Rearend
- Weight reduction
- More track time
The question is do I want to do all of that? Answer is No
I enjoy it for what its ment to be.
The main difference is I don't get on here talking **** to people when I have a Avalanche sitting in my garage.

i drove my supra all the way out there and made a 10.0 pass letting of due to being scared at the top..and then a 9.8 coasting after the 1000' mark..i blew a damn Headgasket..IM never going to use anything else beside C16 in my Supra..the last two times i blew up, i used someone else gas.
and i know some of ya have seen the 240 run...nice and straight down the track!!!
btw...both my cars are down for a few weeks...

G didnt build his vette' to be a quarter mile drag car, its a all out street car. As mentioned in his earlier posts, he is building a dedicated drag car.
