And any info you provide further from "Company" is null and void. Of course they will talk their product up like they are making it themselves and doing all the R&D.... Thats simply not the case here guys. I expect some non-believers. but if i was making 500% markup off you guys, id be sending you a clutch for free if you paid for the first one legimitmantly. I already have your 700 profit in my pocket! whats cutting back the profit say 300 bucks gonna do to me. Nada. I still made 400 and thats enough to probably by 3 more at what this stuff really costs to be made. Its business man.

No one smart enough wants to pay full pop for anything dude. Live it with it that you are getting raped on these "special" setups that they send you to "try" Thats the R&D right there at their cost because the parts are sooooo cheap to be had.

No one warranties racing parts that stays in business long. Sure you can call it good customer service by picking up a phone, calling the distirbutor who receives these "special" disks and says, put it in our box and send it to Joe Schmoe. He's sending back a defective clutch.

Then they inspect it once in house and with all the 700 mark up they have in the clutches, pay the 200-300 bucks for the unit that was an installer error and everyone says they have great service...Its not hard to crack peoples businesses wide open when you dig hard enough. Textrailia does not make ANY parts in house. Bet on that?
Believe me I understand that to its fullest...But...when you get a personal phone call from Australia from the head honcho at Textralia wanting to know what happend with the Exo-Skel and what they are going to do for me to get me to where I want to be with the car...now thats customer service x10 in my book! I know what it takes to make customers happy. Thats what I do for a living. I have NEVER in my 20+ years of racing/building cars have had a company call me personally to find out why the clutch didn't perform to their standards. Little did they know my car was 3800+lbs with 28" slicks, 3.73's, making over 850RWTQ...before the converstation ended I was told a triple disc was being built with my name on it...I think I'll stick with Textralia not XYZ...

I do agree with some of what your saying because some of it is free market working at it's best...We can play the "mark up" game with just about anything...some of it will blow peoples mind for sure!! Point taken...

Once again if you just paid 1200 for one of my clutches that cost me 200 bucks or less, ill call you since im not really paying the bill...I just made 1000 off of you and using your money to provide you customer service.

I promise you if you compare the pictures you see that I posted, you can find the power handling you want for a fraction of retail brother. Daikon is who makes them for Exedy, and its the same Daikon parts without the purple anodizing going into the Textrailia clutches too...they just pick up the part, have the unit poweder coated whatever color Textrailia wants to use that day and ship it out as their own.

One last thing and ill go on with my day...

The old saying goes..

Looks like stock, feels like stock...must be stock...I assure you these "feel" like stock clutches are the larger GM diaphragm setups thats been made for a long time. The true power handling capability is not in the pressure plate or the diaphragms...its all in the disc setup.

DJ, bro..I never said you did...I was merely providing an example. You are their R&D. They still will make some money off of you just not as much as the person that buys them after they finish their R&D with your car

Remember...Money is everyones motivator. It would motivate the **** out of me knowing Ive got 500% markup in something costing pennies on the dollar. Ill do whatever it takes to make that customer happy so i can continue making myself rich off of something so cheap.

Mike H, please behave. I'd hate to stumble and hit the ban button again for you getting into pissing matches about vendors

In case you didn't realize, SOME people enjoy doing R&D work for companies for hook-ups. I've been doing it for years, and have built some good industry relationships that way.

They make a carbon/carbon set up that should be pretty streetable. Plus the clutch and flywheel together come in at like 12lbs total. You would have to get your idle tuning changed tho.

Mike what's your phone number man it seems like you know everything and where to get it why don't you Hook us all up? I was wondering if he was ever going to stop repeating himself. You are like a kid that just found out that KIX and Cheerios are made by same person (General Mills). So why don't you give them a call and save some money on you cereal. I like to save money also, but there is a point I am going to stop. Good luck on your bussines venture.

Its all good if you guys want to pay full pop on stuff. I just installed the "Fake" Clutch last night as some call it..

feels great and it will be a nice performer when the 9" gets here for us to beat on it at the track. Theres no doubt it will hold what we are going to throw at it.

Im still researching theparts for the twin and triple disk setups. Im working with Daikon on that.

Who wouldnt want a triple or twin disk for HALF of what they retail for...
