Build a bigger cubed all-bore motor with some LS7 heads on it and all the goodies that go with that.

-suspension
-heads/cam(matched)
-new rear
-clutch(upgrade hydraulics if 98)
-full exhaust
-intake
.....
the list goes on and on if you do it yourself. It's a good way to get to know the car too!

id travel. go places i'd never forget. amsterdam, ireland, switzerland, do the 4 day inca trail hike up to machu pichu in peru, check out new zealand. you know, do some things and go some places, intereact with other cultures that most people wont ever get to. not saying do all of those, but those would be at the top of my to do list if i had that kind of money laying around waiting to be spent. you get the idea. once you get places its fairly cheap. its the airfare thatll add up quick. i just missed out on the inca trail trip 2 months ago that 2 of my friends went on. other than airfare which was about 1k round trip i think, they said it was dirt cheap over there. they spent like only $100 in lima and cuzco. anyways, my point is do something greater than modding out a car. something that will make you feel like youve done something.

just an alternative idea

Well im $1k out, bought some new tires.

Other than that idk, maybe i will sell it after all. Doesn't sound like you guys like these cars too much, dont even like modding. I spent all the time with my last car planning and saving that by the time I was ready I totaled it (hit a cow) completly ruined it for me. So I dont want to wait anymore...

doesnt sound like we like our cars too much? thats definitely a wrong impression. everyone on here loves their cars or they wouldnt be on a web forum that is car specific. even people without ls1's are on here. as great as our cars are and a much of enthusiasts we are, there's more to life than modding a car. Thats why its considered a hobby (except for the few people here that work at garages it's actually a living). It's your money, spend it on what will make you the happiest or that you could get the most out of.

If your buying tires, might as well invest in wheels too, that way you dont have to deal with buying tires twice. Then I would start to prepare for the power you plan on having. Intake, exhaust, injectors, fuel pump, clutch, shifter, shift light (if M6) driveshaft, and rear end. And like what was said earlier dont dump ALL of it into the car because **** breaks at the worst time.
