Urban Legend got destroyed on video. The wife ain't happy about this. She told me I have open budget to get this right.

i know mike weights in at 3600+, but he shouldnt have got raped like that... esp on the dope

take into consideration that I had a passenger, full tank of gas and I weight 325 lbs....that puts me right up to the camaros weight IMO.

so if you were at about the same weight as mikes car, how come mikes car on spray still lost?

I was shown alot of dyno tricks that can boost your power up a little. Like smoothing it out and a couple of other different things. Just mess with the actual Dyno sheet on the comp. (SAE, smoothing, etc.). Ask around and I am sure somebody could tell you.

80k car compared to a 20k car....lots of things...Like I said...suspension and aerodynamics are a huge part...427 cu in to 402 and his 6000 redline to my 7200.....that is enough for me....

he should be sinning that motor to at least 6600-6800, i cant remember where he peaked, but it was in the 6000 range

I dont think there was anytrhing wrong with Mike's car. Maybe a little traction problem but thats it.

3600 to 3150....add 150 lbs of my weight and 150 of my passengers weight and 50 lbs of gas....

thats 150 lbs difference....weight is not a factor....

Why does a 700rwhp viper truck not stay up with my car....thats because you are comparing apples and oranges. I know of 490rwhp vettes that can run LOW 10's and probally pull away from me. Suspension and aerodynamics play a HUGE part.

well, mike weights about that, then figure gas for him as well.... but as far as the truck goes... Its a brick and it weights quite a bit more, along with the 22's thats a lot of rotating mass. I can understand you beating mike motor to motor, but with mike on the dope, he should have pulled you a little. Hell you KILLED him on the jump and then walked away. You have one hell of a strong car i give you that

Thanks man. I struggle at the track trying to make it hook up on drag radials but from a roll it is awesome...and a fun ride too! Mike has an Awesome car and I followed him back to the meeting grounds and was in awe of his car's sound and look...just screams "im gonna kick your ***" for me to be intimidated by it was saying a LOT! Way to go mike. I bet if we lined up at the track it would be a different story than what happened sat nite.

Thanks Everyone for the good and bad comments. Sorry it took so long for me to post but be alittle busy. First off the Z06 is sick ! Second it was awsome to see everybody to come out! But next time no street tires I just brought a butterknife to a to a gunfight, I think if both of the camaros( James' and mine) would of had a better chance if we would of all had the same traction. Not to take anything away from the Vette , but I know those races would have been alot different. You can tell both of us( camaros) had major traction problems, that vette just jumped both of us. Thats ok it is all in good fun. We will have to have another GTG soon. And to James the is no hard feeling I hope, I didnt get to talk to you but I woulld like to get a shot at the the old SS. I think that would have been a really close run.

tell me you dont youve got bigger ***** than me if you plan on spraying that much on a stock short block with a blower ha ha, maybe like a 75. Well my car is back on the road now
