Well, as long as we are not mentioning things, I won't bother mentioning the bogus holding call against OU in this play:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=I221rUccEEI

All I saw were two A&M players getting blocked legally

I also won't mentioned the 5 times that McGee threw the ball away and only got called for it once.

The pass he got called for did not pass the line of scrimage, which is why it was grounding. The others did. As sad as it is, those two midfeild possesions didnt even matter, A&M still had two oppertunities to get it done and chose to kick FG's. Heres a stat for you, during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters OU's offnese put up 90 yards of offense and 3 points in which A&M threw an INT on thwir own 6, lol.

Last time I checked you can throw the ball out of bounds if your outside the tackle pocket. I'm just glad that less players are leaving texas to go to OU, 90 percent of your team comes from texas, we want them back .

The stat is more like 60%. And if y'all had better teams in Texas maybe they would stay

And last time I checked, y'all had many more Texas players on your team than OU has. How many national titles you have? Big 12 titles?

One last stat: most of our all-americans we've had were from Oklahoma. And 3 out of 4 of our heismans are from Oklahoma. Only 1 was from Texas. While we get alot of your players, they are not necessarily the best ones...

How many of your coaches once lived in Oklahoma?

Hmmm...Mack Brown, Darrell Royal, Mike Leach, Jackie Sherrill....

I just crunched the numbers. Its even less than 60%.

Only 47% are from Texas, the remaining are from OK or other states.

Do the Starters, not the whole team. Just wondering, how many guys from OU went pro in the past 5 years?

Aparently. Only big starter that rings a bell is Jason White. Just remember, when I went to school, was during the slocum days when Ou pretty much sucked azz. You had your run and it's slowly deminishing. Just need to learn to quit paying your QB's. Hell, that was even a texas boy.

Well, the reason why Jason White rings a bell is because he won the Heisman trophy. And he didn't make it in the pros because he had 2 freakin ACL's. Its amazing he was able to finish his college career and win the Heisman under those circumstances. Jason White was from Oklahoma, not Texas if thats what you were alluding to in your last statement.

As far as Oklahoma graduating players to the pros, I'll have to dispel some ignorance there too. In the 2005 draft alone, OU graduated 11 players to the pros which was more than UT and A&M combined for that year.
You can verify my statement by following this link:

http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/years/2005

And as far as paying qb's, if you are an A&M fan, I wouldn't go there. We all know how A&M likes to cheat just as much as the next team.

I just transfered to A&M from Baylor.....and i swear A&M football games are more frustrating than Baylor games. Guy Morris is 10x the coach fran will ever be. He actually shows emotion and has the ***** to make a call to WIN the game. At least the baylor players go out there knowing that their coach has no objective other than winning the damn game. Although it doesnt happen much, at least they can play to their full potential and that program is on the rise.

A&M, has a great team, we just need to get fran out of the picture and get someone who will show some emotion and take this team to the next level. Being at the game this weekend just showed how pathetic this guy is.

other let downs for this program- although i was at a baylor athlete myself, i will admit the baylor blows should not have happend.

--Lost to Baylor

--Beat Baylor in OVERTIME

--Made Baylor a rivalry

--Barely beat Army and then claimed it "was exactly what these kids needed"

--Barely beat Kansas

--Lost 77-0 to Oklahoma

--Kicked the field goal down by 4 with 3:25 left against OU

--Can't beat Texas

--Can't beat Oklahoma

--Only beat Tech once (in overtime)

--Slaughtered by Iowa State at home

--Got blown out at Cotton Bowl.

---Lost to Oklahoma State at home

the list will continue if this clown stays around.

He is the only one I can think of that was from Ok. Can't really remember any suspensions at A&M b/c of us paying our QB's. Ruining QB's maybe, Reggie probably would have won a championship at any other school with good talent.

I don't need to verify anything, the NFL statement was not mine, but if you want to look into it most of the pro's where from other states. For example, Roy William (best one) was from Cali. so we both loose on that front.

I am hard headed on this subject b/c my last year at A&M we won the big 12 and had a possibility to replay FSU in the national championship but we lost to Texas by two points . I'm waiting for my glory day and I don't think Fran will do that.

No but A&M has been on probation before for NCAA violations. Last time I checked, that is the same as cheating.

Duh, there are 49 other states to choose players from. And besides, Oklahoma ONLY HAS roughly 3.5 million people. There are more people than that in Houston alone.

Listen, I am as hard headed as you are so lets just say that we both have good teams and leave it at that cause I really don't have time to argue..

There will always be should of's, until we get an emotional consistent coach that can win big games. Guess I get kind of sour b/c one of my roomates went to OU and the other goes to UT. Plus I bartend on 6th street with 2 ex pom squad members so I hear OU UT crap all freaking day long. Guess it makes me kind of bitter. I'll always go back to my Slocum days.

And I can honestly say that we don't have a good team, talented yes. In our cases talent doesn't win games. Who ever comes in and starts winning the big games will probably be treated like a god in aggie land. They should take basketball as an example, we used to be the worst in the big 12 and now we are ranked 13. Why, b/c they hired a proven coach.
