Default what to do...what to do...?

ok, so it's time for my 6-month longevity bonus at work again, and i will have $800 - $1000 at my disposal

here's what's been rattling around in my brain so far...anyone think of a better way to spend it? (besides hookers & booze )

i want to stick with suspension mods at the moment....after all, there's no use in going fast if your suspension/braking isn't up to par.....plus i'm more interested in better cornering & such right now than straight-line performance, anyway:

-OR-

was thinking about a front/rear sway bar set, too, but that would put me over budget, and i need to leave a little room in the budget for getting the SFC's welded in (any recommendations on where to go for this, btw?)....i'll be doing the rest of the installation myself

the braking kit contains:

• Front and Rear PowerSlot rotors
• Front and Rear Hawk Performance Brake Pads
• Front & Rear Stainless Steel Brake Lines
• Two cans of Brake Fluid

Option A would greatly improve the rigidity. I would highly recommend it over option B. Unless your brakes are really bothering you, I would stick with the first option.

yeah, my brakes are kinda shimmying when i slow down, like the rotors are warped, so it would be an opportune time to just get it all upgraded.

i could just throw on some OEM replacements and just wait another 6 months before i upgrade the brakes....but then again, that just means doing the job twice, which i'd kinda rather avoid

hence my dilemma...

I haven't heard very good things about the PowerSlot rotors. OptimusWS6 had them on his car and they started cracking very badly. I'd go with option A.

i would go option a, also instead of getting a non adjustable tq arm. i would go with the adjustable. it will be more but it is worth it. also if the strut tower brace is a 3 point then i would get it if not then I wouldent bother. the 3point ties in your struts with the cowl/firewall.

According to a lot of the people who know far more about suspension on our cars than I claim to know, they don't do anything, aside from give you a place to hang your towel when working under the hood. Do a search in the Handling and Braking forum.

i would avoid the 3 point STB that whoever was recommender what happens whenever you get some twist in the suspension, it can warp the cowl/firewall area that it bolts to because it is not one of the strongest area's of the car

This is all stuff i have found out looking into this stuff so i dont think i would ever get a 3-point, but also on that same note this all info i found so it may be wrong, if your set on doing STB do a little research into it to see whats better
