Aggies vs Huskers....
So I managed to get tickets to the game, but the only time I've been to College Station is driving through on my way somewhere else.
Questions: What are the "must see" things on campus? I'm getting there early tomorrow to do some sightseeing on campus and to wander through to see the tailgating action.
Will there be an LS1Tech group up there?
Where do I park?
Oh, and the big one - Who will win?

the only thing to see on campus is the bonfire memorial, and the stadium. you're already going to the stadium so check out the memorial on the opposite corner of campus (texas n university).
chances are there wont be an ls1tech group there, but who knows. the bcs peeps will chime in if so.
if you are gonna go to the bars afterwards, park around northgate, theres two big garages by northgate that are $5. one is on campus across from northgate, one is right behind the bars. if you are not doing any drinkin, then good luck. try any garage, depends on when go to park. our agenda when we go is to go to northgate a couple hours before gametime so we get a good parking by the bars. its not a far walk from northgate to the stadium. thats what most people do regardless.
hopefully tamu

Must see things on Campus: Bonfire Memorial, Rudder Fountain, Rudder, MSC, Kyle Field(you'll see that tomorrow) George Bush Library, theres probably a bunch more.
Outside of Campus: The Chicken, Freebirds, lots of little food places everywhere.
Parking......anywhere you can find a spot......I usually park in research park which is just west kyle and a little west of reed arena. Its down by TTI and the Ocean Drilling offices.

theres a link with the area highlighted, its a walk but its free parking.
there won't be an "official" LS1tech group out there, but if you give it time tonight some people should post up where they will be at. I might make one but haven't decided.
Who will will: TAMU 27 NU 24

I'm originally from Nebraska... It's been a tough few years for us Husker fans But you just don't find a Tom Osborne every day.

Well, the reason I didn't mention my opinion of who will win is because I don't have a clue who will.
It all depends on which page of the play book the Nebraska coach brings to the game...
Since his big plan for the year is simply to win the Big XII North, I would NOT be suprised if he brought the "I don't care if we win, but let's just not get beat by a bunch" game plan. And yes, the Huskers coach has that game plan. He pulled it out against USC. Against Texas he pulled out the "let's do anything to win" gameplan and it almost worked.
If he brings the Texas game plan, it'll Huskers....big. If he brings the USC game plan, it'll be the Aggies, by 10 or 14.
But we won't know till kickoff which game plan the Huskers coach brought.

I don't know where I'm sitting either - tickets are coming from a friend. All I know is that they're on the 45 yard line. Oh and the guy said "these are expensive tickets" and that his kids don't like to sit there because they can't see very well. That makes it sound like they're down LOW.
But I'll see when I get there.
Regardless of the outcome, I just want to see a good game with no bad calls and with no Brent Musberger.

Thats twice that we get beat in the final minute. Overpaid coach, underused talent. I really hope we don't make a bowl game so Fran will get canned. Way to go on the ruffing the passer play, adrenaline is a killer.
