what car loses 1/2 a quart of oil from a 30 miles and 2 days of sittin in a driveway???

it was low pressure caused by a stock pil pump and 520 horses.......... oh yeah... and the mis shift on the hose in 3rd gear

quit pointing this way bro..... I take mutual responsiblility for what happened.... I am not pissed.... but you failing to admit that missing 3rd gear played any role in this after I specifically said I had no window switch...... that is starting to sound fucked up....... I am cool..... you need to stay cool as well.... no point in losing a bud over 5k dollars I woulda spent later then sooner.

I dont take any responsibilty...Bearings dont spin on mis-shfts..They spin on launch with NO OIL ON THEM. 1/2 oil can be lost with your high mileage engine and driving habits. Ive heard you come to the house and let the RPMS come down on their own in gear.

Does any race car owner blame their driver when an engine fails. Hell no. Its maintenance or lack their of on your part and lack of listening to what others have told you time and time again.

I said HELL no cause you didnt have a window switch as a safety measure. You wanted me to do it at the track too...So i said **** it and did what you asked me to do..Make a pass on bottle.

You've "mother fucked" me behind my back and not just one person has brought it to my attention. I wont tolerate it. I diagnosed the car for FREE the next day or two after that. I didnt ask for a check out fee. And you turn around and talk **** to all the "cool" guys at the Wed GTG's...I dont think so "bud" my buds dont talk like that about me. You made the decisions to go cheap and instead of rebuilding and waiting for a fresh motor to install the stuff on your chose the now route. Every time you want something done, its now now now. You got exactly what I told you would happen to it because of your now now now.

Low oil pressure isnt from a stock pump...low oil pressure comes from being low on oil. you have no oil to pump you get air and get lower oil pressure readings..

I once burned 2 qts of oil in a 300 mile trip to Louisiana....So yes 1/2 qt of oil in 2 days is not out of the norm for your driving habits.

 

I was there....both of yall went around the block on motor because you said that you wanted a driving lesson came back and you acted like a little kid in a candy store with a little hard on and the first thing that came out of your mouth was "lets put the bottle in" to be honest i wanted to go inside because i was tired of hearing you ask about it I thought you would never leave.. To me it was apparent that it was due to 3 things.

1. High Mileage engine
2. Lack of high oil pressure on old bearings
3. 3 consecutive runs on the bottle at the track and a missed shift in 3rd gear.

Mike....... you need to chill out. I never said it was your responsibility... I just said it happened when YOU where driving it which makes it suck. If anyone has the right to be upset (which i aint) it would be me...... you where driving the car.... not me. That in itself is enough to upset most. You where told the car didnt have a WS before you left the staging lanes........ I am not saying it not hittin 3rd was the reason it fubard.... I think that was just the last straw... Otherwise why did it make the 1st 2 passes??? Give me a break. You are not HPP or RPM.... this is not a thread about shops and issues. I have no issues.

I was 100% aware the motor would go sooner or later... why do you think I purchased a car with 95k miles on it??? Hence why I have no reason to be pissed.... why do you think I scraped the idea or patching it up... this was gonna happen sooner or later. Simply put the night at the track just made it sooner then later. I was only pissed because I was confident that If i where driving it it wouldnt have broke. Atleast lasted a little longer. Dont tell me you are not the king of finding weak links?? lol

who cares anyway..... I am excited about the new plans...... hope to break mid to low 6's on the new setup and see how far a 6 speed full weight car will go. (minus the K-member)
